The WebGIS/GeoWireless 2001 conference will bring together researchers and practitioners to present up-to-date results and achievements primarily in Web Geographic Information Systems (GIS), GeoWireless, and Location Based Services (LBS).

WebGIS/GeoWireless 2001 will highlight handheld GIS productivity tools, GIS integration with mainstream information technology, wireless communications, and wireless emergency 911 services.
