Migrating to ArcView 8
This new two-day course introduces ArcView GIS 3.x users to the features and architecture of ArcView 8. Students learn how to use the new Windows-based applications-ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox-and explore how these applications work together. Participants learn how ArcView GIS 3.x terminology and features relate to the new terminology and features of ArcView 8. Many of the topics covered in this course are similar to those in Introduction to ArcGIS for ArcView and ArcInfo (I). Attendees who complete this course should not enroll in Introduction to ArcGIS for ArcView and ArcInfo (I). Prerequisites: Knowledge of ArcView GIS 3.x is required. Price: $800

Working with ArcView Image Analysis extension
(for ArcView 3.x)
This two-day course introduces the ArcView Image Analysis extension, which enables users to process, analyze, and integrate satellite images and raster GIS data in an ArcView GIS environment. Participants learn to display and visually manipulate remotely sensed data, import and display images from numerous sensors, and read and write multiple data formats. Prerequisites: Knowledge of ArcView GIS 3.x is required. Price: $800

Introduction to ArcIMS
This new three-day course provides a conceptual overview and the hands-on experience needed to incorporate mapping functionality into Web sites using ArcIMS (tm) 3. Students use ArcIMS to access, display, and interact with GIS data and get an introductory understanding of distributed Internet computing in general and GIS mapping on the Web in particular. Prerequisites: Introduction to ArcIMS is for GIS professionals with limited Web knowledge or Internet professionals with limited GIS knowledge. Price: $1200
