7th Annual Integrating GIS & CAMA Conference

The 7th Annual Integrating GIS & CAMA Conference will take place March 30-April 1, 2003 at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio.

This conference, jointly produced by URISA (www.urisa.org) and the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO, www.iaao.org), was developed to meet the unique educational needs of these professionals:

a. Assessors who want to implement, improve or expand their use of
information technology(specifically Geographic Information Systems [GIS] and
Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal [CAMA]).
b. Managers of specific appraisal and assessment functions who are looking
for new and improved IT applications.
c. GIS Managers who either are in, or serve, assessment departments.

We invite you to share your knowledge and ideas with your colleagues and peers. You are encouraged to submit an abstract for consideration by the Conference Program Committee. Abstract submissions are now being accepted at

The Conference Committee, consisting of IAAO and URISA members, will organize an educational program based upon the abstracts submitted through this Call for Presentations. ABSTRACTS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 15, 2002.

International Conference of GIS and Remote Sensing in Hydrology, Water Resources and Environment

The International Conference of GIS and Remote Sensing in Hydrology, Water Resources and Environment (ICGRHWE) will be held at Three Gorges Dam construction site, China from September 16 to 19, 2003. The Ministry of Water Resources of China, the International Association of Hydrologic Science, and more than 10 international and national organizations will sponsor this conference. The Topics include Hydrology, Water Resources, Environment, GIS and Remote Sensing, and Development of Yangtze River and Three Gorges Project, which cover most of the areas of Hydrology, Water Resources and Environment.
