Professor Terry Slocum is nearing completion of his three-year term as Editor of Cartography and Geographic Information Science (CaGIS) and so it is time to select a new Editor.
We invite those interested in thisposition to send an e-mail message to Professor Slocum at t-slocum@ku.edu by September 15. The editorship would begin sometime in the fall, with April 2003 being the first issue for which the new editor would beresponsible.
As is standard, the editorship would be a three-year term, with the possibility of an extension if the Cartography and Geographic Information Society so desires and the editor is willing. If you have any questions,please feel free to contact Professor Slocum.
