GISC Helps Capital Projects and the Cities of Berkeley and Albany Piece Together a Coherent Plan from a Collection of Individual Project Drawings

Jackie Bernier from Capital Projects contacted the GISC to help with a joint planning project she is involved with with the Cities of Berkeley and Albany at University Village. Codornices Creek is the nexus that this project revolves around which includes relocated and new youth sports fields, redevelopment of student family housing, development of a bike path and restoration of an urban creek. Each of the agencies have drawings for different projects along the creek, some in electronic form and others hand drafted, all in different scale and formats, that need to be knit together in order to understand the whole. This project is just underway and will be reported on in the future.
